The owners want to start a month late and cut 8 games from the schedule. The union wants to start on time and they want to play a full slate. No agreement on universal DH. No agreement on doubleheader length. And the nonsense about a runner starting on second base in extras. Ridiculous.
They're both batting heads and I don't imagine the end result of what happens will benefit fans.
I wish they'd work together and figure it out, rather than staying separate with everything. They're killing the game, slowly but surely. Walk me back from this ledge, please.
