The Nether update was great, the cave update sounds very promising, but I feel like there's a dire need for an Aether realm as well as more large tasks like going to the End to kill the Ender Dragon or fighting the Wither. Exotic gear would also be cool, like items that are very difficult to obtain, can't be enchanted, and have special abilities.

Although the Aether dimension is a wonderful idea, I would really enjoy seeing a caving dimension or a dimension where darkness shrouds the player and truly puts fear into them. Maybe something like the deep dark that is coming in the new cave update.
