Where does it originate from? This journey, this need to unravel life's secrets when the easiest of inquiries can never be replied. What are we doing here? What is the spirit? For what reason do we dream? Maybe we'd be lucky to be not taking a gander by any stretch of the imagination. Not digging, not longing. That is not human instinct. Not the human heart. That isn't the reason we are here. if it is not, my dear forum members, then why are we here?

Damn, that is a really loaded question
I feel like this stuff is easier to talk about in person

I have no idea why we're here or anything like that
Aside from religion, which has ample answers, I'm not sure there is one
Religion generally tells you to be kind so that you can have peace and enjoyment in the afterlife
Science says it's random coincidence and you just reproduce

Personally I don't like to think about it too much, I say find things that you want to do
take steps towards achieving the things you want
if you have something to strive for, you might find a sense of purpose there

also being with people you like and love helps when you feel empty
like friends and family
