I personally think Umbrella Academy is better but a lot of people seem to like Doom Patrol more. I think Umbrella Academy has a better story line whereas Doom Patrol is more wacky.

Umbrella Academy for me but I like both. IIRC they are both made by Gerard Way who is the Lead Singer of MCR.
