I'm very interested in hearing people's opinions on Back 4 Blood by Turtle Rock Studios, who played a large part in the development of the Left 4 Dead games. Do you think the perk mechanic will turn some people off from the game? I had a chance to play the alpha some months back and I thoroughly enjoyed it and think the perk cards give it a fresh feeling. In the alpha the game was very hard though and I think they have probably made difficulty adjustments since then. If this is the first time you're hearing about this game and you liked L4D I would recommend you go watch the trailers, the game releases October 12, 2021, I'm very excited for it personally and hope it brings a fun co-op experience.

I was a big L4D player, so I hope it does suffice! I've become wary of how a game looks before the actual release, so trailers don't get me too hype anymore. It is cool that some additional variety can be expected! Count me as a big ::fingers-crossed:: but I won't be pre-ordering
