Will this season's sports championships "count" more than they did last year?

A lot of different sports league had their seasons shortened and playoffs modified in 2020. It's open for debate, but I think it's fair to note anyone that won last year with a small asterisk since a lot suddenly changed mid-season and not all teams were affected equally.

What about this year (2021)? Leagues were able to plan ahead, so every team started off on the same foot. But some league formats are still different, and a lot of players are missing time because of Covid protocols. Do you think that makes this year's champions "less legit" than a normal year? "More legit" than last year?

It'll be different for sure, but it might be easy to forget about this year's circumstances when people look at records and statistics a decade from now.
Unless this year gets some kind of special recognition with an asterisk in the records or something, I think it'll seem like any other year.

IMO though, it's not more or less legit, just more luck based due to the circumstances.
