My most hated trope in zombie movies is when a character later shows up turned into a zombie after being caught by a crowd of zombies. Zombies are so often shown mobbing their victims, how then do zombies increase in numbers? I thought they get torn to shreds, not just be bitten and allowed to turn.

Well. For me it's the whole shooting them in the head/brains thingy being the only way to kill or stop a zombie. Just shoot them in the balls for a change.
