I was listening to a podcast about how a dude served ~10 yrs to cover for his homie. Maybe I'm just a bad friend, but I can't see myself doing the same. For a close family member or long term partner, then maybe, but no more than 5 yrs lol. 

Wbu? Would you do the same for someone? parent, friend/gf, sibling, etc? If so, what's your limit on how many years you'd be willing to take? (if the crime matters to you, then let's just say something like armed robbery, for consistency)
