...so i have a date coming up....girl i met at an airport...got lucky...shes from my original home town so we hit it off...im meeting her in a week...

..im a little more into paying for the date....but ive had some girls get offended...dunno why...

Women generally spend quite a lot getting ready for a date - eg.  hair, makeup, clothes.  It always seems fair that the man pays for the evening - if you are both skint or both loaded then split it.
