back in school what was the coolest card game in the yard. obviously holo pokemon cards like charizard made you the king. but eventually magic cards became the most popular cuz they looked more mature. yugioh cards never been popular at my school. who took the crown in your childhood?

definitely pokemon and then yugioh. The time when they came out kind of align with my age group. Magic never caught on as much cause it was viewed as nerdier and an actual game

Never played magic, yugioh has consistently more overpowered cards so i'd go with yugioh over pokemon

I've always liked magic more than the other two as the cards looked more interesting to me. But I did collect all three.

In my school people started with yugioh but moved on to pokemon after a few years

Yu-gi-oh. Also yu-gi-oh had a sick TV show, so it was better as a kid. Of course so does pokemon, but magic the gathering doesn't as far as I'm aware.
