imo when i was younger those two franchises always kinda been the rivals in terms of spooky survival games for me. for me silent hill was a lil more scary with the world shifting. what was the better game in your opinion`?

I liked Resident Evil more but I think old school Silent Hill was probably the better game, especially at the time, however currently Resident Evil is better than ever with several remakes and better modern versions of the series whereas Silent Hill continually flopped as the series went on.
