questions on contributor level
#21
The worst feeling is signing up for the site, spending time in the lounge and spending your first 10 credits on thread, only to see that your contributor level is now negative. Aside from posting a leak thread, is is replying the threads the next best way to raise your contributor level?

gotta post new threads!

I tried posting and it didn’t work for whatever reason. I know for a fact it wasn’t something that has been posted here before.

#24
Haha, did anyone start in this forum the right way? Seems like everyone just goes negative

#25
This is very helpful.thank for all tips.

It seems to drop CL by a decent amount in the Leaks section.

#27
What an interesting system.  I think this will get me to 2 then?

Yeah I can’t figure out how to make it go up.

My contributor level is -35 because I thought that replying in the leak section is how one unlocked the links there... that is what the instructions there say.  After poking around more, I’ve discovered that replying in that section hurts you instead of helping you.  It would be great to make that clearer in the leak section.

i need info about this too. is there any good advice?

#30
so the credit is scam bro?

#31
I'm new and I posted first in Leaks to have links but I see that it decrease my CL and that I can't acces to links that i gave credit
So I posted things in General discussion, but my Cl seems to be locked to -30, i don't understand why

If you dont have anything to share, then getting points is going to be slow and painful for people. As said before, posting and making threads is the best way to increase the level, but it's going to take a lot of time. I've researched a bit so I'll try to restate some things.

When making threads, talk about popular topics that people might enjoy. Just making random threads wont be approved, and even if they are they might not attract attention.

Dont reply in leaks since it will reduce the level by 5. Dont open a link without a contributor level equal or above 10. It wont hurt at first, but it wont paint a good image when people see your account.

Post replies that are actually useful. No idea how this ties in to level, but I feel as if typing in random replies wont boost your level at all.

Reiterating, if you dont have any leaks or things to share, then the last options may take a while. Unless you want to pay, which I'm sure is not many, then be an actual contributor which I know people dont like. Those are just some ways, there may be more I havent covered.
