planning to build a PC but GPU prices are crazy, what's a decent price GPU that's around the level of a GTX 1660 (around $500)

Since GPUs are varying price a lot I will list all the best options out there (from better to worse):

- RTX 3080 TI
- RTX 3080
- RX 6800 XT
- RTX 3070 TI
- RTX 3070
- RTX 3060 TI
- RX 6700 XT
- RTX 3060

It's not worth it to go for a RTX 3090 nor RX 6900 XT unless you have unlimited money.
Nvidia GPUs are the best for mining and rendering video.
AMD are the most cost/efficient

None, just wait. I know it is hard but maybe buy an intel NON-F cpu and use intergrated graphics for the short term

Rtx 3080 ti is the option right now imo, but if its too expensive you can go for the 3060 or 3060 ti. They all get the job done
