For the most part, yes, there's some forums that will not add Credits, as far as I'm aware... but it's not just about Credits, there's also Contributor Level. Just because you have 843075349075 Credits, and spending on everything doesn't mean you'll be able to unlock it, if anything, your Contributor Levels will be so low that it'll render you unable to do much, except, well, post.
