I’m looking to make a 1500 dollar setup and I want power but I don’t want to spend too much on some parts and budget the other and at the same time I don’t wanna cheap out on the important parts. I know intel does run expensive in comparison to AMD, but is it worth going with Intel over AMD?

I don’t think so, intel is just a little bit better in games, so if that’s what you are mainly going to do, you can go with intel, but AMD is much better in quality/price. However there are some videos comparing both in different aspects an then you can take a decision. In my case I’ll go for AMD

if money is an issue, just go with AMD. i doubt you'll notice much of a difference.

Just AMD, anything intel or nvidia has been overpriced for years.

I've always used Intel but I have to say AMD is just killing the game right now so deffo go for AMD.

Have a look at benchmark sites and compare price/benchmark. Pretty sure you'd end up with a AMD CPU.

Intel usually is a better bang for your buck.

Usually AMD is better than Intel, in games it doesn't matter, but in multytask AMD is better.
