Advice for working night shift

Does anyone out there have advice for working night shift?

I'm on night shift right now lol. It's a big adjustment at first, especially if you're used to a typical 9-5 or school schedule. Music really helps me stay awake and being active as much as possible to get that circulation going. Other than that, sleeping in the day before and maybe some caffeine lol

Learn to sleep during the day, and make sure it's actually 8 hours that you're asleep. Be sure to get up and move around while you're getting used to the night shift. Caffeine can help, but the crash is harder for those who are not naturally night owls.

Chewing gum helped keep me up. I worked at Amazon and Lowe's overnight and I had to chew gum so I would be doing something. Also make sure your brain is active, if you are just sitting around idle and mindlessly doing work then you will get drowsy fast af
