Hey, what are your guys thoughts on AoE4? Do you think it can compete with the success of AoE2? Will the pros switch over?

AoE2 (definitive edition) is immortal legend. After 20 y u can say if AoE4 Is MORE immortal. :-D

I cannot wait for it! People still play AoE2 partly because of the mod support and the amazing DLC & comp side.

I don't know about the pro scene or anything, but I'll be playing it. It seems like a fun sequel to a good game, but I still play 3 a bit too so I have a different opinion than most.

Im a bit worried by the gameplay I have seen so far. The animations look a bit janky and the youtube videos made it look like the game has some framedrops. However, if it doesn't actually have either of those I will be down to buy it, maybe not at full price though.
As for competition against AOE2, I don't think it will replace it.
