I watched Batman v Superman when it originally came out and was pretty underwhelmed. With all the movies out right now and the hyped up Snyder Cut on the way, are there any of the movies from the DCU that you guys would recommend watching?

I’m not a big fan of the DC movies, compared to marvel they just are not on the same level in movies on the other hand I believe DC knocks it out of the park with there tv shows. DC is better with shows marvel is better with movies. If I were you I would definitely get into the whole arrowverse of DC shows which include Arrow, flash, black lighting, DC legends, supergirl and more and they are all connected and have crossover episodes. Start with arrow it’s an amazing show I started watching the flash first which is a little out of order in the way your supposed to watch the shows but I eventually got them in sync and it was amazing

It’s not a movie but I would highly recommend the DC shows on HBO Max, Harley Quinn and Doom Patrol both are really good comic book shows and shows in general.

I reckon if u still count 2005 as current, the only good modern dc movie is christopher nolans batman trilogy. Bat man beginsz the dark knight and the dark knight rises were all very well made and I think that we get to see bruce wayne more rather than the good vs evil, very childish notions.

If you find the live action movies underwhelming, I suggest watching their full catalog of animated movies. 

Most are comic book adaptations and some of the recent stuff is loosely based of the newer material, but I still recommend them all.
