Now's a good time to bring out the addictive time-wasters. Civilization, Endless Legends, Crusader Kings, Factorio, and so forth.

I'd advise a few roguelikes which are good for replayability. Recently I've been playing a lot of Darkest Dungeon which I just really love quite a lot because I'm just not the type for quick reaction games. I'm always so clumsy so I really like a turn based game where I can just sit back and plan. Sure there's an element of surprise through the rng rolls but after failing a couple of times, you start to get the hang of it. Also, it's low commitment which is always a plus. Some other roguelikes include FTL, into the breach or even XCOM2. Also if you're looking for a game which is peaceful and beautiful at the same time I would recommend Nier:Automata, it's just such a beautiful game that I really look fondly upon. Dragon Age Origins and Divinity 2 Original Sin Definitive are really fun if you're looking for an rpg to fill that hole in your life, the stories of both are very nicely written and the mechanics feel really satisfying. Can't really think of too many others off of the top of my head.
