Any of you guys ever experienced testicle pain?
#1
Weird question for a porn forum right?

I’ve had a constant dull ache in my right testicle for 5 weeks now. It’s difficult to get in at the doctors at the moment due to COVID-19 but I’ve managed to get a testicular exam booked for next week. Problem is, I’m petrified it’s the dreaded C word. Can’t sleep with worry.

I can’t feel any lumps or bumps. Feel absolutely fine otherwise, just this nagging ache in my ball. Not STI related as haven’t been sexually actively in over 12 months, but it’s a lot worse after ejaculation. I thought it might be epididymitis, but it doesn’t hurt to be pee, or feel hot. Don’t think it’s torsion as apparently that’s really painful, my pain is probably a 4 out of 10.

So yeah, I’m going to the doctors soon, but just wondered if any of you guys had ever experienced anything similar that might put my mind at rest a little?

Thanks for reading.

Yah I would definitely get it checked by a doctor as fast as you can as certain things can lead to very bad results.

If you have had your vaccine recently I’ve herd that can make ur balls hurt so that might be it. If that’s the issue then you have nothing to really worry about.

Also they is a chance your testicles might be twisted and it’s cutting of the supply of sperm to your urethra. Especially due to the pain being caused after ejaculation. You might be completely right in your suspicions of epididymitis.

Good luck man hopefully it’s not to bad.

Hey man thanks for your reply. Yeah I’m getting it checked as quickly as I can, next week was the quickest I could get in. I had my first COVID-19 vac 3 weeks ago but had the pain before.

I don’t think it’s torsion as I’ve read consistently that that is severe pain, and you KNOW something is seriously wrong, my pain isn’t that bad. I’m really leaning towards it being epididymitis as there’s a point on my teste that hurts to touch, and I think it’s where the epididymis is. But obviously I can’t be sure.

Guessing I’ll be sent for an ultrasound and the saying is “don’t worry about something until you have something to worry about” so I’ll try and keep calm.

Thanks again for your reply, hopefully I’ll get positive news.

I have. Went in for an exam and Dr. referred me for an ultrasound. Two weeks of waiting for results and a potential phone call, but nothing showed up. Had an STI test, nothing either. Had a second opinion, and the Doc just said go home and take some Tylenol whenever it acts up and not to worry lol. So definitely get checked, but you don't have to be too worried I would say.

Hi mate, what kind of symptoms did you have? Painkillers don’t really do anything for my ache. Hoping I get an outcome similar to yours

Similar to yours kinda. Dull nagging ache, but only on one side. It was intermittent, and feels somewhat like a heaviness, soreness, or light burning sensation. No pain in urination, walking or anything else. Discomfort level would mostly be a 2/10, but every once in a while spikes up to 4/10. Likewise, painkillers did nothing. It kinda just went away on its own after sometime, but still comes back every now and then. Part of the pain was probably just me overthinking things and being anxious which amplified it I guess, but I don't know.

It could be from an infection.  I had similar symptoms but after a couple weeks one "side" swelled up.  If there is no swelling, redness or heat, then it may just be from something called epididymitis.. like dull ache on the top/front/inner-thigh side of the testicle.  I had that too and it sounds like what you are describing.  I think it got better after antibiotics and switching from boxers for a bit.  Maybe google it.

Hope it's nothing more serious mate.  Good luck!

This is a porn forum, this is absolutely the right place to ask about a testicular problem. We're all guys here, and testicular problems affect one's ability to enjoy sex and porn. You're in the right spot, @dredg.

If it weren't your testicle, it would sound to me like there's a nerve that's being partially pinched. I've had the same testicle pain you're describing, but it usually just goes away, and is pretty rare in my life.

As strange as this sounds, it could also be that your spine needs some adjustment from a chiropractor. The Coccyx (in the tailbone) is the portion of the spine that controls the signals to your penis and testicles, and it may be that some time with a chiropractor is what you need to knock it back into proper adjustment. The spine being out of alignment causes all sorts of pain and problems, but regular doctors consider that the last place to look, and they look down on chiropractors for some dumbass reason. Bring it up to your doc, he'll probably order an xray of your lower spine.

If it turns out that it's Testicular Torsion, then it's a godsend, because you're catching it before it gets bad.

Things are going to turn out just fine, @dredg.

Thank you mate. I’m already a little more relaxed after the few replies here. Seriously I’ve read that much stuff on testicles the past few weeks I’m halfway to becoming a urologist ?

Woke up again today with the same discomfort but did sleep better. It doesn’t seem to be getting any better on its own so just looking forward to getting to the doctors on Tuesday now.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Hi Olichan, thank you so much for your nice message. I did explore the possibility of it being a byproduct of another issue. Been doing some stretches but I’m that unfit it’s making me ache the next day! I’m comforted by reading others have been through the same and are still here to tell the tale. It’s an absolute pain and has completely lowered my sex drive as even arousal aches but I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Hopefully will be able to provide an update on Tuesday.

Nothing like that, but hope you get better soon mate. I do feel "clogged" from time to time, but it lasts only a second or two.

Do your doctor a favor and shave your pubic hair.  At the least, trim the hair above your penis and between your legs, but shave the testicles themselves.  Public hair stinks a lot, and your doc is there to examine your testicles, not your pubic hair.  Your doctor will appreciate that, and your exam will go a lot better.

Good luck!  I pray that your doctor brings you good news.

I went through this many years ago.  similar to what you describe.   After my ultrasound they found nothing and determined that i either sat funny at some point
and that dull ache got worse the more I worried and worried about it.    Really hoping that's your case as well!   It's easy to say but try not to worry to much about it
until you've talked to the doctor.  Regardless it's good you are doing something about it.

I have previously bruise my testicles, it's not a fun experience. And it was as silly as getting off a trampoline. It's a possibility, as the pain kinda sounds the same, but as many have said, definitely check out a doctor.

I sat on my balls by accident once.

You need to see a doctor tho there is no such thing as being “too careful” when it comes to our jewels

Hi everyone, really touched by people taking the time to reply and sending best wishes. Much appreciated.

Quick update, I went doctors, but have had a slightly frustrating experience. On a positive, I had the examination, doctor felt no lumps or anything out of the ordinary. Was told to try supportive underwear and was assured I have nothing to worry about, but to have an ultrasound to be cautious.

So rang to book the ultrasound the next day, but was told the backlog is long and there is a minimum wait of ten weeks. My doctor had put non urgent in my notes. Which is kinda annoying, as I would like a diagnosis, but have to be reassured by the professionals assurances. The pain has eased a little, but is still present. And obviously, in that time things can spread, or get worse, or even if it’s an infection I feel I would benefit from antibiotics. But such is life.

Hopefully things will slowly improve, and the doctors are correct.
