I was surprised Minari didn't get a nod. HFPA says that "if more than 50 percent of your film's spoken dialogue is not in English, it can't be nominated for Best Picture in either of the Globes' categories." Some of the rules these organizations come up with are ridiculous. A good movie is a good movie.

I was also surprised Borat did ANYTHING. HFPA embarrassed themselves with that one.

I figured The Mandalorian may have had a bigger presence too.

There is no reason why they aren't able to bend rules in situations like these. They speak korean in the movie because it is the story. Completely ridiculous to discredit them for that.
