I know it's just a Disney movie but I feel like that was one of the worst scripts I've ever seen

There's like no character development and things in the plot just happen with zero explanation, plus the action scenes were really weak for a PG-13 movie, was I expecting too much out of it?

I just read about a different live action.  I think it's called Matchless Mulan. Supposed to be WAY better than the Disney version,  and I hear you can watch it free,  in full,  on YouTube
