The only good RTS games I’m still fond of these days tend to be almost if not more than 10 years old! I’m talking games like Shogun 2 and Dawn of War Dark Crusade.

Are there any new RTS out there with similar vibes to the above (mostly looking at large armies in a world with economy systems that are built between battles)?

I loved Starcraft, it's a shame that the competitive scene has moved away from RTS in favor of other genres.

I was always a fan of the Command & Conquer series. A more casual RTS that I really enjoyed.

I used to love all the older RTS games. Now it is just Starcraft pretty much for me that I would get excited about.
