I bought it in the last days due to the Steam Sales and i'd like to play it with someone that could help me also in understand and learing mechanics and stuff.

The last patch added local multiplayer/co-op so I would definitely recommend playing with someone in your household.

Farming is very easy to learn. If you want to become friends, or more, with the locals then you will have to learn their schedules and what they like to get as gifts.

Recently started with the Stardew Valley Extended mod, adds a whole lot. At first a bit hesitant to use too many mods, as some are way overpowered. Still a nice go to game to relax.
