Since Sir Alex retired it has been downhill for Utd.  However, years later and 100's of millions spent they are back at the top of the Premier League.  Are they back to their best?  Will they win the league this year?

They’re not “back to their best” but they’re not as bad as some people make them out to be. The biggest reason Man U are top is because no team has been dominant this season like Liverpool and Man City have been. But Man U are definitely better now than they have been in previous years and could genuinely challenge for the title this season.

No, the league has been so open this year, unless they go unbeaten from here on, they are not back to their best, already out of 2 cups and only 3 points clear with a very inconsistent record
