besides coins, do you invest in stocks?

#2
No because everyone I know that invested in stocks lost their money

#3
>Do you like giving your money to hedge funds that will gladly take your money and give you nothing in return?
FTFY OP.

Stocks are a rigged game that we plebians are invited to give free money to.

#4
I’m in invested in both and I’ve lost money mostly on stocks, but it’s always good to diversify.

#5
no. not really
Wink

#6
Yea, just indexs are always good

#7
A little bit. Not more than I can afford to lose

#8
I bought AMZN at 17.50 a share. Yup! But, didn't buy enough, I thought a better investment (in 2001-2002) would be Sirius/XM radio. UGH.

#9
No, always was too scared beside not knowing anything about this game..

#10
If you have money to invest, buy an index fund (e.g. vangaurd) then don't touch it for 5-10 years. If you think you can make a bunch of money overnight, you're likely going to get screwed, but if you're patient it will pay off nicely (most likely).

That of course is assuming society doesn't collapse due to war, famine, global warming, or nuclear apocalypse.

#11
Stocks are good for long term investments, generally the market goes up. Most markets seem to have recovered from the hits caused by Covid already

#12
Just invest in index funds, free money in 10 years

#13
Only if they go up

#14
Came up on stocks the last couple days.

#15
It sounds tempting, but I'm worried that I'd lose any money I'd put in. I'm not sure that I have the know-how for that kinda thing just yet.
