Aren't spectators an important factor in sports?
#1
I'm watching the Olympic Games these days.

I don't think there's a lot of spectators, maybe because of Covid.

The crowd sometimes makes the players more nervous, but I think a lot of the audience gives them more pleasure.

So this Olympics feels little empty.

I agree. They are a huge factor in competition.

#3
yes. there is nothing like a full house in a stadium

It sucks to be Japan, they gave in and locked everyone down, and didn't allow spectators. They built all that shit for nothing. And it sucked seeing all those games without fans.

#5
Some say no but some say yes.

Probably have to check how home teams usually do vs away games.

#6
It depends on the sports. Combat sports actually were pretty watchable without a crowd. Perhaps not quite as exciting as hearing a crowd roar for a great knockout, but it was pretty interesting for combat sports to be able to hear coaching and callouts from each corner.

#7
sports are sports, fans spice it

#8
Yea that is why there is aching called home field advantage, teams that play in front of their fans tend to do much better

very very important
