Been wanting to pick up Baldur's Gate 3 since it released but the thought of putting 100+ hours into a game isn't as easy as it used to be. I feel like it would take me a year to get through it and then not be able to play anything else. Wanting to get folks thoughts on whether it's good enough to spend that amount of time on it or not.

I believe it is well worth the time investment. The stories and characters in the game are fun and even surprising at times. Just the initial arc / part 1 of the game after the start is fantastic. Additiinally, the game had an in built modding system with plenty of good user created mods from lore friendly to entirely overpowered game breaking. Its a game which you will be able to mold exactly how challenging any aspect of it is to fit your playstyle with a little searching for suitable mods. Overall, highly recommend.
