Back to movie theaters?
#1
Has anyone seen anything in the theater since things started opening back up? Nothing out right now screams “must see” right now. Hoping something awesome shows up before Mission Impossible James Bond or Top Gun this fall.

I went back already, for Godzilla vs Kong!

I streamed that. Wasn't worth going to a theater for. Hollywood has lost the ability to write an action film.

The CGI was well worth it, so was the $30. But hey, everyone's different, not everyone has $30 to burn.

Indeed. I'm interested to know what the bill is for using the server farm to create those graphics.

Yeah I'm one of those people that doesn't have $30 to burn at the moment. But damn, your theatre is expensive. Tickets for ours are about $12.

$12? Must be nice, unless you're going in the wee mornings or something, we went during the night, and it was IMAX, so that's around $18 or so, plus food, so yeah, $30 sounds around there haha. It doesn't really matter though, it's not like I splurge, going out to the movies every weekend or something, they used to have Tuesday night deals, but that was before covid. So $30 once in awhile? Yeah, should be fine. It's like a what, 2 lunches? Just skip those!
