I'm looking to scratch a nostalgia itch and emulate some old PS2 games. What's the best one, as in easiest UI, but also with enough modernization options like upscaling graphics?

As far as I've seen, PCSX2 is still the go to emulator for most people that want to emulate PS2 games. There are quite a few settings to go through, but there are lots of setting guides for specific games these days. Most games run just fine as is, but a few require some tweaks to run smoother.
