I’ve been really enjoying a lot of horror games both SP and MP. I love a good Zombie game of which Left 4 Dead 2 is probably my fav. Also a huge fan of Alien Isolation and Friday 13th The Game. Anyone have any other recommendations?

They're probably overplayed by now, but the Amnesia games, especially The Dark Descent, are really good if you want to get into the atmosphere. The sound design alone freaked me out the first time I turned it on; it was literally like the music was made to draw out your nightmares. Loved the atmosphere.

Alice: Madness Returns isn't technically a horror game in that it'll scare you, but it's got amazing horror-like aesthetics that are well worth playing through. 3d platforming and actions mostly.

I think that SCP containment breach is the single scariest game out there. The clunky graphics make the game more disturbing than it should and the unique abilities of the scps, and auto blink make the game really tense imo.
