Best Way to Get Over Injury?

I worked out regularly, but I tore my bicep trying to do a mixed grip deadlift. What can I do in the mean time to cope?

I get that feeling. Had a partial tear of rotator cuff and took me about 10 months to get back in to routine. You just gotta do what you can and work around it really. I worked pretty much just legs, abs, and a bit of biceps during my injury. Lots of consistent stretching and light resistant band movements to keep the surrounding muscles active until I could go heavy again.

>pray to God you don't need surgery
>rest
>stop using the damn arm
>ice
>heat
>stop using the damn arm
>eat right
>put some more protein in your diet, the body needs it for healing
>raw milk
>pray to God the doc says you don't need surgery

Drink water and take it one day at a time

Make sure you get rest and don't try to power through it honestly
