can you recommend an app to learn programming on Android?

I'd say Android really isn't a good place to start but if you really want to take the plunge, you'll need to instal a development environment on your desktop or laptop. Most Android development is done using Eclipse but I gather Visual Studio has Android development tools these days (there's a free version for home use).
