The number of films coming out this year has dropped compared to previous years, so this could be interesting.

I really liked Bacurau and Charlie Kaufmann's new one: I'm thinking of Ending Things.

Yeah completely  agree. Pretty poor movie year in general, though.

This is so sad, but the only movie I've seen this year is Birds of Prey. It was okay.

Only movie I saw in theatres this year was Color Out of Space w/ Nick Cage. Unfortunately didn't see Invisible Man in theatres in time but for me The Invisible Man and Relic would be my favourite movies of the year so far. Both excellent slow burn horror movies and Color Out of Space was also pretty good but not great, Nic Cage kicked ass in it if you like him.

Have been meaning to check out both movies in your post OP but haven't gotten around to it cuz I mainly watch horror movies these days.
