What's your personal preference of image editing software? For long tasks I use photoshop & for much shorter/simpler tasks I resort to using pixlr's online editor.

I am working on linux and usually use GIMP. The GUI is sometimes a but annoying but overall i am happy since most features of paid software is included for free

So I’ve been using photoshop for about 3 years and would say with time comes better understanding.

You can easily edit a photo much quicker and there’s plenty of tutorials online to learn new things.

If you’re looking to do a batch of photos lightroom would be the better option. With lightroom presets you can blitz through pictures.
