Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for the best software to download/capture cammers? Not talking about videos that are already stored.

For videos, I use youtube-dl or VideoDownloadHelper. 

Without needing any software to download, you can press F12 to inspect, go to Network, Hit Record, then refresh the page and see one of the media files increase in file size so you'd know which one was the right file to download. This method used to work on Pornhub, but then they changed it to just stream the files by pieces instead of the whole video, so I found the other two software above that work.

But still need to find something for those thots online streaming. Preferably open-source or something.

Is it capturing it 1:1? RTMP Dumphelper can re-direct the stream and record it directly. I think a lot of the on-screen capturing stuff is like an overlay over your video, so the video and audio aren't as good. Problem is RTMPDumpe helper only works on flash videos.

The alt+windows+r tip is pretty good. I like that it is built in already. But it too suffers from capturing stuff that I don't care about like the chat window box. I just want to get the video output directly so I don't have to edit the video to crop out the chat box. Gave you rep for the awesome tip tho!
