Boardgame Recommendations Both Analog and Digital
#1
What's your favorite boardgame that you routinely play? Does anyone have any recommendations for fun cooperative boardgames like Pandemic? Ideally the game should have non convoluted rules.

How do you feel about more tabletop games moving into digital? Days of Wonder has recreated many of their boardgames on PC, which makes them much more accessible and less finicky due to automation as well as allowing long distance gameplay. Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia both have huge libraries of games to play, and Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds facilitated ease in playing pen and paper RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons, all of which grew vastly more mainstream since the past year.

Really enjoy King of Tokyo. Super simple and super fun. Feels like a video game with all the power-ups you can get.

Looks pretty fun, I'm pretty interested in card style boardgames, but the reviews seem to suggest the mechanics are broken?

I played settlers of catan once in uni because i had a few hours to kill and the board games society was in the next room, having zero experience i would say it's easy to pick up and quite fun in a group

the settlers of catan is a neat board game

It's not really a card style board game. More like a dice game. It's a very simple game, so I can see why not everyone would like it.

+1 to Catan, like that game too

I've never tried Codenames, but I do own a digital copy of Splendor that I haven't tried yet so I'll do that soon.
