Trying to build a basic discord bot, but I want it to be interactive. Anyone have any tips or wisdom to share if they've done something like this before? I want to use python

theres lots of youtube tutorials out there - thats how I started
I think I still have the old files for it around if you want them?

Just BTW - if you're writing your own bot, you'll need to host it yourself too - you can just run it on your local machine but if you turn it off or close the terminal prompt the bot will stop working, either that or im sure you can find a hosting provider

you can build a discord bot with any coding language as long as the script type is supported
