I love an ugly win, particularly against a bogey side. That was a massive three points, not for a title challenge but the fight for CL places. Bailly was standout for me today. He scares me every time he's on the ball but the defence is much better with a pacier CB alongside Maguire. It allows a higher line and makes them less susceptible to balls over the top. This is a pivotal point in the season now for United. I think if they could get a new CB in January (Bailly won't stay fit), they really could finish strong. Unfortunately that would require some competence from the board, so we're probably screwed. Let me know what you guys think.
