Can the DCEU be saved?
#1
After the some what disappointing movie of Wonder Woman 84, can Warner Bros put out a decent DC comic book movie or will it just be Batman or bust?  None of the other DC movies seem to be anything better than meh.

Haven't a good portion of the actors quit or move on?  Pretty sure DCEU is dead in the dirt

True, I think only Gal Gadot and Aquaman are still signed on for movies.  I was just more curious if DC could make decent movies outside of Batman series.  The comics are pretty good as far as stories go but they never can seem to translate to the big screen for some reason.

DC is known for more gritty stuff, and it's hard to translate that into live action without it coming off as melodramatic and corny. In addition, things like "the thing" from the fantastic 4 kinda seem like they belong in animated form only.

They should have done a Superman (Cavill) and Batman (Affleck) Movie without the other JL members., or at least a few more Superman movies with Cavill.

Cyborg quitting may not have helped

DCEU?  Dead, at least to me.  Wasted too much of my money at the theaters assuming that comic book movies would at least be entertaining.
Still a DC fan, but anything connected to this Universe/direction just a hard pass unless it gets overwhelming critical praise.  I went to see Joker and that was well made but I sure didn't go opening night.  I waited until well after the reviews started coming out.
I don't know what it'll take to get DC to start caring about their source material but, well, WW84 shows that hasn't happened yet.

DCEU was at it's peak with Christopher Nolan's Batman, but past that and the animated films there really isn't much WB has been able to produce that has been any good.

Feels bad, kinda enjoyed Shazam and Aquaman. Had my expectations low cause it was DC
