Do you think the new M1 MacBook pros can suffice as a productivity and gaming laptop, i would like to buy one that can do both if possible. games I'm looking to play on it are cyberpunk and chivalry 2 etc.

Most likley not, because the M1 uses the ARM processor architecture and most games use x64 or x86

Regardless of if the processor itself is supported by the games, a macbook in no way will be able to play cyberpunk at normal levels. Top tier hardware (3070, 5600x) struggle to hit 60fps with the game on max and DLSS on. Imagine what a macbook without a gpu or DLSS will be able to do.
