It also doesn't work perfectly for me. It will work properly a couple of times but then after maybe 5 or so links it will put me into an endless loop of successfully solving them but then starting the process over until I leave in frustration and come back later.

Same issue her, works for a few links then goes into an endless loop

#5
Yeah, without the intent to specifically complain, just mirroring what others have said- it's easy to soft lock yourself for a time and get caught in loops or wait for a longer than pleasant period until it starts to operate again.

I'm sure from a backend perspective there's a whole lot going on, but it feels rough when you actively have to pick and choose your forums and links knowing that you'll only get so many before you have to wait an hour and try again. There has to be a better solution where everyone wins a bit more fluidly

Since we have deployed this, the number of link broken on a daily basis have substantially decreased.

While I will ask the dev to see if there is a bug, there will be very limited removal/extension of this, to make sure links work for everyone.

Just an update to this.

Having had multiple people **EXTENSIVELY** test this, the system is working perfectly.

If the cloudflare captcha isn't showing up for you, it's probably because of a VPN/adblocker/script blocker. Disabling those will give you full access.

As stated above, since implementing these, the amount of broken links have reduced dramatically, in fact its over 95%.

The measures are very non intrusive, the first one is not even really a captcha. So in short, the measures stay. ,

I can attest to OP. When using brave (browser) it does not work. Chrome works for me though. Idk if that helps

#9
Brave browser has "shields" that can block Javascript. As stated above, we have done **extensive** testing, and under normal , heavy use, barring blocking scripts and doing non normal things that would otherwise try to bypass the protection, either unknowingly, or otherwise, the system works as intended.

Is there any way Onyx members can be whitelisted without compromising the links

At this stage no, even a single member who has full access would basically make the system moot as they could basically scrape and destroy all the links
