Contributor level
The explanation helps a lot - I was confused for a while

The information provided is very helpful. And makes a lot of sense. I'll keep it in mind to preserve my reputation level.

I still am a little unsure of how to earn credits. But I will read a bit deeper in the thread, hopefully I'll get some clarity on that.

Interesting concept. I'm a new member here and trying to get access to the more popular threads.

posting on the non leaks section but my level hasn't changed welp

I made a comment in a non-leaks board and I still went down?

thanks for the explanation, good system

Thanks for the explanation.

Thanks, very good explanation  Smile

Thanks for explaining this, sadly it looks like I did some damage in my haste to get some credits. Working on fixing it now though. Is there any numbers on how much is needed etc to bring it back up from -100 for example?

Thanks, that clarifies a lot.

how do i get credits

Thanks for the information Lucifer. I will be a better member of the community now

Thanks for the explanation.

Thanks for the explanation. very easy.

If you're just posting a lot and frequently, does that also bring your score down? I started replying and saying thanks to people even though the content was locked, and now my score looks like a bitch. I'm sure it'll go back up, I just don't want to put myself -300 or something crazy.

Quote:Ok without going into too deep an explanation, because the precise algorithm is a trade secret, let me break down how the "Contributor Level" is calculated.
  • You get Positive Points for Making a New thread

  • You get Positive points for replying or making a post in the NON-Leaks Sections

  • You get Positive points for every single like you receive on your posts

  • You get negative points for making a post in a leaks section. This includes Nudes/Social Content Etc.

  • Viewing Threads has ZERO effect on your rating.

  • Buying or clicking links has ZERO effect on your contributor rating

This rating is simply a measure of how much you have contributed to the site. Making a reply to "get points" to unlock content is not contributing. Making general discussion in non-leaks section is. The gains from posting content ie. Making Threads is much higher than making posts. Making spam posts just to "get points" simply to unlock content is not contributing. This is why a lot of users who simply sign up, make a lot of posts in the Leaks Section just to see thread contents, have very low contributor ratings. The system uses custom metrics to detect how much a user has actually contributed to the site. Which is why, you can bypass it completely by Upgrading your account, which is an entirely different way to "contribute".

All in all, it is just another way to keep the site clean from scrapers, and spammers, and unlike many sites, our links stay up longer, because of these measures. I hope that clears things up.

@Lucifer NightStar

I can only speak anecdotally and obviously as a moderator you are much more knowledgeable but this does not seem accurate. Since starting my account three days ago my score has only dropped. My post history is about 70-30 Leak:Non-leak and my thread history is 1-2 Leak:Non-leak. Further, I received a like on a Non-leak post and my score hasn't change. Maybe this is due to my Junior status (probationary period??) but I can't help but think this is a way to get people to pay for a membership (especially since there is nothing in FAQ or a specific and separate thread stating you need to have a positive contributory score to access leaks after using credits). Do not get me wrong I endorse the contribution system but at least for me it does not seem to be straightforward as this thread suggests. Please see screenshots and I will post again if/when my score goes down again after this post Dodgy Confused

I'd like to add my voice to this as well.  I don't seem to have gained any positive points for ANYTHING.  Can anyone confirm this?

I was at -200, then posted in the welcome thread. Brought it -195. I've had two photo posts I've tried to submit not get approved, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there. Not really a lot of feedback on if I'm doing it right or not, but I figured after 24hrs, it was probably wrong.

Any sorta help on that would be great
