If i get a programming degree will i make decent money off it for a career?

Definitely not with a degree alone, especially if you’re looking to be a developer. Experience I would say counts more and then the degree becomes a boost. Working on many side projects will provide you with such experience as well as internships.

A developer can earn well especially with an education but they look more at experience and how good you are
