Masks became a political subject in America. I am wondering if those who equate masks to oppression ever wore facemasks. Do you guys know anyone who refuses to wear a mask? I don't think discomfort would be a reason for this much opposition to wearing masks. Are they making a statement by refusing to wear a mask or do they think masks just don't work?

During the 1918 Spanish Flu Epidemic, more people died from Bacterial Pneumonia, than from the Spanish Flu. The reason? They used masks too much, and got themselves sick.

Fun fact: The "Spanish Flu" was the result of a medical experiment performed at Fort Riley, Kansas, and was spread throughout the world, when they and those they infected were deployed to Europe.
