I loved Treasure Planet as a child, but I recently rewatched it and to be honest it has a far better message then most Disney movies that exist, especially because it tells the story of a boy trying to make his way through the world without a guiding father figure.

You know that movie is the most expensive animated movie ever made, and sadly the reason we never got a sequel is because the movie never turned a profit.

Also it was the last of disney animations run through 90s and early 2000s before they changed artistic direction
