It's been almost 10 years since this game came out and I haven't found any RPG of that caliber.
I've been thinking about Baldur's Gate III lately, should I buy it or is there something else better that came out recently and I may have missed?

Baldur's Gate 3 is awesome you should give it a chance. Gameplaywise there are some differences compared to Divinity: Original Sin II though.
