There is a really high turnover rate and always a lot of talent out there. So supply and demand dictate it won't be lucrative unless they find a way to be in demand.

I remember seeing a Jayden Jaymes interview where she said she made great money driving a new BMW etc. But she was also in her prime. Newer starlet interviews I've seen they get paid a ton in the beginning to get them in and then studios offer less and less or they get contracted to one studio for X amount to do X scenes and it ends up not being worth it.

there are so many new comers breaking in with more than one names. they make one film and leave for many reasons.  the ladies make money touring from states to states. it help if they are featured on magazine or dvd cover. One of the few that is still active is Nina Hartley.  33+ yrs.
