Planning on buying an sd card for my switch but wondering if I need one made by nintendo.

the one I use is a sandisk one with 32gb and it works fine, so it doesn't need to be Nintendo. sorry if my reply was late

I have used a 128gb and 256gb sandisk cards and had no problem

Dont know if you bought one already but no you dont, and one should suffice I'm able to have abt 5 games on mine and theres room to spare
