Examples:
Tiger Woods had the best peak in golf but Jack Nicklaus had the better career
MJ had the best peak in basketball but LeBron will likely have the better career
Djokovic had the best peak in tennis but Federer/Nadal have had the better career (so far)

i agree with conquistadora. who people continue to talk about is what matters. when it comes to the goat for a sport, it should be obvious. if you have to debate it, the challenger isn't the goat yet
